I'm Fedor Terekhov who is since 9613 days or 26 years on this earth.
I'm Fedor Terekhov who is since 9613 days or 26 years on this earth. I've been born in 1996 in a post-Soviet country and lived there for 11 years until the life brought me to St. Gallen, Switzerland. After mastering the cultural differences and the challenges of the integration I chased my dreams of working in the IT. As I finished the school I started an apprenticeship in a financial institute as a system engineer. While working as a system engineer I started more and more to code in my spare time until I decided to change my focus to development. And this is what brings me here to today where I'm studying application development at a higher technical school and always looking for projects or jobs to improve my skills. tst fte

My Passion
My Passion
Since I was a kid, I always have been fascinated by everything technical, electrical or which has scientific or technical background. Doesn't matter if it's a car, an airplane or quantum physics I always want to understand how things work. My thirst for knowledge is enormous as I love to explore new technologies or experiment around with them as learning by doing. In other words I love to explore and I love to invent.
Knowledge
From managing payment systems, firewalls, network and clients in a financial institution or schools for the government to hosting UNIX servers for a startup in the music industry I've seen nearly every corner of system engineering/administration.
I've build different applications be it python backup runner for websites or big .NET background services with different connections to APIs and databases which process hundred of thousands datasets. Also, I've deeper experience with relational databases as I had the opportunity to design and build these in a few projects from scratch.
I had the opportunity to lead a big project for a music industry startup by building up the whole product from scratch. Big part of it was planning the development and managing the team and nearshoring partners which I solved by using agile methods.

Spare Time
In my spare time I often love to balance my self out by getting out into the nature or do some workout with my own weight. Doesn't matter how the weather is I'm always up for a trip into the woods or mountains. I also love to travel and explore new countries and cultures or music festivals. Besides that, I'm also working on some coding projects like this site for example and I improve my general skills by studying or taking courses to learn new technologies.
